Primosten

Welcome to Primosten, nature's unique gift

This small coastal town, is one of the most attractive destinations on the Adriatic coast. With its long pebble beaches, hidden among pine forests and its crystal clear sea, Primošten provides an ambience that is hard to resist.

It is surrounded by seven small islands, and is located on an island which was subsequently merged with the mainland. Primosten kept all its architectural features of a medieval Mediterranean town. This is particularly visible in the narrow streets and old stone houses in the old part of the town. At the heart of the old part of Primosten is the Church of St. Juraj, dating from 1485, which offers an impressive glance of the Primosten archipelago and a little lower, at the foot of the hill, is a church of St. Roko, dating from 1680.

Retaining its continuity of life, this coastal town has now developed into a recognizable tourist destination for domestic and foreign tourists. In a small area, anyone can find something for themselves so guests who want an active holiday can choose from a variety of sports such as tennis, table tennis, mini golf, beach volleyball, football and basketball courts, water sports like jet ski, parasailing, a diving center with a diving  scool and water ski. Tourists looking for adventure can get their adrenaline kick with activities such as rock climbing, biking, paintball, bungee jumping, rafting on rivers Zrmanja and Cetina, safari canoeing and sailing.

In addition to the hotel facilities (Hotel Zora) situated on the peninsula Raduca, Primosten offers accommodation in private apartments and rooms, in camp Adriatic and in several small camps located near town. We should not forget the Marina Kremik which turned Primosten into a small paradise for nautical tourism. The quiet bay is surrounded by the Babic vineyards which serve as a monument and as a recognition of the hard work of the local people.

Its location, close to the historical and cultural cities Sibenik (with its hinterland), Split and Trogir, and nearby national parks Krka, Kornati and Paklenica, Primosten is the ideal choice for your holiday away from the noise of the big city and yet within reach to the sights .

Primosten will enchant you with its charm and its crystal blue sea will leave you breathless. Drinking a glass of the famous Babic wine and eating a slice of prosciutto and cheese, and our happy hosts is a guarantee for a memorable vacation.
